Doctor en arqueología andina por la Universidad de París 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne, especializado en los períodos prehispánicos tardíos, con un enfoque particular en los procesos de ocupación y organización territorial en el altiplano circumtiticaca. Sus investigaciones abordan las dinámicas sociopolíticas de las sociedades preincaicas a partir del análisis de los patrones de asentamiento, las redes de intercambio regional y las relaciones de conflicto y alianza. Desarrolla su trabajo a través de un enfoque dual que combina la metodología arqueológica clásica con la aplicación de herramientas geomáticas, integradas de manera estratégica en el estudio del paisaje y la ocupación del espacio. Desde 2022, codirige el proyecto ALTI-plano (MEAE, IFEA, Archaïos, ArchAm), centrado en el análisis diacrónico de las ocupaciones prehispánicas y en los mecanismos de apropiación y transformación territorial en contextos de larga duración.
